Coldworking

Coldworking is mainly executed using diamond tools, sand paper and sand powder, as well as a glass saw. This allows us to process ordinary glass as well as borosilicate glass or quartz glass.
We can execute a variety of tasks: cutting, sawing, drilling, grinding, eroding, polishing, etc.
These techniques, which allows us to manufacture divers portholes, used in the industry, can be an addition to glassblowing for the preparation or finishing of pieces, that were processed by flame.

Glass lid NS45/20m

After having, at the request of a customer, manufactured this lid made of borosilicate glass 3.3 (type DURAN, PYREX, etc.), we produced the NS14/15 and NS 45/20m sockets.
This example proves our capacity to manufacture devices for conical or other connectors which allows us to respond to the various requests we receive.

Cutting of tubes (half cylinders)

We can on request saw tubes made of borosilicate glass, ordinary glass or quartz glass.
For your information: cuttings with angle are also possible.

Terrestrial globe

This blown and sandblasted globe made of borosilicate glass 3.3 (type DURAN, PYREX, etc.) is the result of a collaboration with a customer, who wanted to create a prestigious gift.

Manufacture of porthole glass

In our workplace, we can cut porthole glass made of ordinary glass, borosilicate glass, quartz glass, vitro ceramic glass, etc.
These pieces can be produced as well in toughened glass.

Drilling

In our workplace we can cut porthole glass made of ordinary glass, borosilicate glass, quartz glass, vitro ceramic glass, etc.
These pieces can be produced as well in toughened glass.

Cutting out or drilling and sandblasting of glass plates

In our workplace, we can cut portholes made of ordinary glass, borosilicate glass, quartz glass, vitro ceramic glass, etc.
These pieces can be produced in toughened glass as well.

Drilling of a glass tube made of borosilicate glass 3.3

We can on request drill through tubes made of borosilicate glass (type DURAN, PYREX, etc.), ordinary glass or quartz glass.
For your information: cuttings with angle are also possible.

Drilling a whole in a glass tube

This example shows a glass tube, through which we drilled a whole. The use of a diamond drill made this possible.
Please pay attention on the fact that the glassware doesn't show any cracks or black spots from the flame.

Cutting drilling and sandblasted glass bell made of blown glass

After the manufacturing of this glass bell made of borosilicate glass, we have drilled three holes in the flat edge and sandblasted the internal wall. This creates the impression that the glass bell is made of opal glass.

Manufacture of porthole glass

In our workplace, we can cut porthole glass made of ordinary glass, borosilicate glass, quartz glass, vitro ceramic glass, etc.
These pieces can be produced as well in toughened glass.

Conway cell for the cell culture

This is a cylindrical form made of borosilicate glass 3.3 (type DURAN, PYREX, etc.) with a diameter of 112 mm and a height of 13 mm and with two concentric parts.

Glass work for the lightning industry

Manufacture of glass work according to a plan or glass models for lamps, chandeliers, lighting, ...
The glass work can be sandblasted on the inside or on the outside or on both sides to create an opaline effect.

Glass globe

Manufacturing of glass globes for lamps (LIGHTNING). The glass work can be sandblasted on the inside or on the outside or on both sides to create an opaline effect.

Heat-resisting glass for stoves

We can adapt vitroceramic sheets (ROBAX, PYROCERAM, VISION, etc.) and sheets made of borosilicate glass 3.3.
We can produce sheets cut to the dimensions requested by the customer, to replace the broken one(s). These sheets are appropriate for convection heaters, open fireplaces, skewers, halogen lamps, etc.

Vase with semi-sandblasting

This is the manufacture of a vase according to the criteria of a designer. To obtain the three distinct layers, we used a different granular size during the sandblasting.
